Dominoes are another wonderful and inexpensive learning tool!
Dominoes have been around since the 18th century and not only are they used to play a great strategy game, they can be used to build structures and toppling runs. Some of those domino runs can be very interesting to watch!
Here are three sites that have information about dominoes if you would like to learn more about them or how to make your own set of toppling dominoes… check them out.

Have you ever had the opportunity to watch a complex domino run run its course? The amount of time, creativity, and patience needed to put those runs together is amazing. If you decide to make your own, start small, then build on from there. The videos below offer some tips to get you started, tricks to challenge your skills, and something to strive for. Betty Jo, of Still Learning Something New, has posted the newest version of her September 2018 Special Days Calendar. It has a long list of famous birthdays, historical events, interesting days, monthly event and food themes, and more.
