Make Your Own Jigsaw Puzzle
Using the yo-yo picture on this page, or one of your own, print a copy (or draw your own), spread a thin layer of glue on the back of your picture or drawing, and adhere it to a piece of cardboard, smooth out the picture as well as you can, and allow it to dry. This a great project to do before going to bed. Once the glue has dried, use a ruler or choose a shape (square, diamond, triangle or something more complicated), to cut your puzzle into. Draw the shapes or lines on the back of the puzzle, and carefully cut them out. This video shows children making their own jigsaw puzzle
If you run into areas that didn’t glue well while cutting it out, use a glue stick to fix the problems.
